Donner's experiment involved replicating the seat positioning in Robinson's vehicle to provide height indicators. "When she sat in the car, she couldn't touch the pedals," Donner explained. "Her arms were straight out and she said, 'There's no way. I can't drive like this without perching on the very edge of the seat.'"
