In his message, the president expressed his satisfaction with Floca's appointment, stating, "Matt Floca, subject to the approval of the Board of Directors, will be named the Chief Operating Officer and Executive Director, of THE TRUMP KENNEDY CENTER, where, as Vice President of Operations, Matt has helped us achieve tremendous progress in bringing the Center to the highest level of Excellence!" Trump emphasized the center's planned transformation, saying, "THE TRUMP KENNEDY CENTER will be, at its completion, the finest facility of its kind anywhere in the World!"
Trump's Renovation and Rebranding Efforts
Trump has been actively involved in the center's rebranding and renovation plans. He added his name to the building's exterior and has appointed board members who are allies. The president released new renderings of the exterior, showcasing the center's planned makeover. He also provided an estimate for the project, projecting a cost of about $200 million, which is lower than the $250 million approved by Congress for renovations.
