U.S. Carrier USS Gerald R. Ford Transits Strait of Gibraltar, En Route

U.S. Navy's Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS Gerald R. Ford, accompanied by the destroyer USS Mahan, has reportedly transited through the Strait of Gibraltar. The movement is presumed to be en route to the Middle East, following earlier sightings of another U.S. aircraft carrier, USS Abraham Lincoln, in the region.

According to ship-tracking data, the Gerald R. Ford briefly signaled its location off Morocco's Atlantic coast on Wednesday. The purpose and specific destination of this deployment remain unconfirmed as of now.
